As president of the Kenora Construction Association, I am proud of the work we do. Alongside a group of energetic directors and competent staff, we strive to ensure our member companies are kept up to date with construction opportunities, safety training workshops and compliance updates which might be of interest.
Arnold Palmer, the golfing legend reportedly said “The road to success is always under construction.” By assisting apprenticeships with bursaries to help pay for their schooling, the association helps to pave that road ensuring a knowledgeable workforce for tomorrow.
Ross Shafer, author of “Nobody Moved the Cheese”, stated “If you don’t like change, you’re going to hate extinction!”. Well the association has moved past its 25th year anniversary by remaining relevant, progressive and ever changing in its service to its members.
On behalf of the board may I remind all our members of our guiding principles:
- Quality workmanship
- Fairness in dealing with customers
- Reliable, dependable service when customers call
- Compliance with national, provincial and municipal building codes
- Provide support to the city economy
May customer service, safety and reliability form the foundation needed to move your business forward.
Rick Moore, President
