Kenora, Ontario, March 27, 2018 – The Kenora Construction Association presented its final two bursaries for the 2017 year to recipients Mike Snyder an employee of Solid Construction Inc. and Stephen Baxter an employee of A.K. & Company (Kenora) Ltd. Each recipient received a $500.00 Apprenticeship Bursary. This bursary was established to recognize the hard work and dedication of individuals pursuing a career in the trades.
Stephen Baxter – A.K. & Company (Kenora) Ltd. is presented with a $500 Kenora Construction Association Apprenticeship Bursary by Shelley McCool, Acting President of the Kenora Construction Association.
The Kenora Construction Association is pleased to announce that it will be providing up to six $750.00 apprenticeship bursaries for the 2018 calendar year. The applicants must be employed by a Kenora Construction Association member organization; and must be enrolled as a full-time student in an apprenticeship program in the current calendar year.
